About
History
In 2023, SIP transitioned from oversight by the Associated Students of UCR to the Center for Educational and Community Outreach Programs (CECOP). CECOP administers several SAPEP initiatives, such as Early Academic Outreach Program (EAOP), TRIO Programs, and College Corps.
Mission Statement:
To empower UCR students to lead and execute outreach programs that increase access to higher education for K-12 and community college students from underserved backgrounds.
